What makes us different?  Well that’s easy, our purpose built themed studio sets create a perfect setting and environment designed to make you feel at ease, whilst allowing October Divine to work her magic creating beautifully authentic images, we specialise in re-creating timeless traditional photos for ladies of all shapes and sizes; when you feel amazing you look amazing!

If it’s an experience you’re looking for?  Then we have that too… in abundance!  October Divine is your fully qualified make-up artist, vintage hair stylist and your Photographer she’s also one of the UK’s top internationally published pinup models who runs workshops and training courses across the UK for aspiring pinup models and you get her full undivided attention ( 1 to 1 ) during your time at the Pinup Academy.

October’s here to make you look and feel your very best whilst putting you at ease, it’s normal for girls to feel a little nervous when they arrive for their first makeover & photoshoot experience however, October is great at making you feel relaxed, she’s also great at showing you how to pose; sharing little-known secrets on positioning & posture that will make you look amazing when in front of the camera.

Fully Clothed, lingerie, implied nude or dare to bare all, the choice is yours but rest assured you’re in the comfort of our private (appointment only) studios and it’s just you and October.

October’s talents extend to her photography skills which have also resulted in her work being accredited and published internationally.  October attributes her natural talent behind the camera to many years working as a model on the other side of the lens along with literally thousands of hours spent working with her husband Si Brailsford, Commercial Photographer and Trainer at The Pinup Academy.

Our studio is based just outside Lichfield in Staffordshire, it’s easy to find and with great road and train links we’re easily accessible, cheap too… you can often find tickets from London Euston direct to Lichfield Trent Valley for under £20 return.

What makes us unique?  This has to be our combined strengths, by bringing together such a wealth of talent and passion for traditional pinup photography along with our authentically furnished studio sets, professional hair and make-up from one of the UK’s leading pinup models providing guidance and coaching on styling and posing techniques whilst she directs you from behind the camera. We think you’ll agree that’s a fairly unique package and one that’s hard to match!

The truth is we do what we do because we love it, mid-century pinup is our passion, it’s become a way of life and we’re fortunate enough to be able to share it with others, so let me introduce you to the “lady” behind the Pinup Academy; who knows you may have even heard of her!
