October is an incredibly talented lady who did such an amazing job styling hair for myself and my 6 bridesmaids for my wedding. Everyone looked insanely good (if I do say so myself) and our guests were blown away by the detail and artistry. To top it off, October is a lovely lady too! Thank you so much x

I had a lovely day with October Divine at The Pin Up Academy, having opted for the biggest package as the sets looked lots of fun. I talked with her about the kind of images I wanted, and I felt she listened to this and with her guidance and experience I’m really hoping my photos will turn out well! I just felt totally relaxed and really pampered as October is very, very good at making hair so pretty! I told her I wanted my mother to see my hairstyle the next day so she fixed it so that it would survive a night. (All my family loved it, thank you!). I think I have already persuaded my niece to have a photo shoot – there’s a good range of prices – and I hope to come back in the new year to do something a bit different for me as I would be so comfortable with October. She is very professional.The atmosphere of the studio is very positive and friendly and everyone in her local community are so fortunate to have such a wonderful facility and lovely lady there! Well worth a visit wherever you are in the country as very unique. Highly recommended.
Edit: just received my set of photos. I love them. My family says they are the best I have ever done. October captured the moods I wanted, and the sets are so pretty and cute and glamorous I think everyone would be very pleased with their photos. Hoping to book again in a few months�

I attended the pin up academy for a beauty masterclass with October Divine. The room was all set up with lots of goodies to play with including out very own tool kit to take home so we could recreate the looks we had learned. October was friendly, professional and knowledgeable as well as patient with a group of novices. She talked us through the basics step by step and stepped in to lend a hand when needed. Cups of tea were supplied regularly throughout the day and we were treated to a plentiful lunch. The day ended with a little photo shoot, which I was feeling very nervous about. October was forthcoming with instruction which helped put me at ease. I’m really looking forward to seeing the finished photo! Thank you for a great day pin up academy team! X

I had such a good time at my photo shoot with The Pinup Academy. October and Si were so warm and welcoming to both my husband and myself. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I didn’t feel rushed at any point. My hair and make up looked amazing and the shoot itself was great fun! I was put at ease, made to feel comfortable and in turn could really enjoy the experience. Would highly recommend to everyone- whether it’s portfolio images, a pamper day to treat yourself or if you would just like some lovely photos as a keepsake. Extremely professional

Had a lovely time today with October on my first shoot. She made my hair and makeup look amazing ( got home and the hubby love the look�) felt right at ease and once I relaxed the experience was so much fun. I wish I could give the pinup academy more stars than just 5! This was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done and October made me look and feel amazing! She helped me with poses and made sure my hair and makeup was perfect at all times! Her and her partner/photographer, Si were really friendly and professional and made me feel totally at ease and relaxed during my time there! This was booked as a Christmas present and it was the best one yet, and was totally worth every penny my partner spent on it! I just can not wait to go back for another shoot, hopefully soon!

So … Yesterday I had a pinup makeover & photoshoot … AMAZING, legendary October Divine & Si are so down to earth, it was relaxed, friendly, great fun and also really helpful to me as a model. Great tips on hair, make up, poses and outfits … Go book yourself a fantastic pin up experience. I highly recommend it to anyone, models or anyone who just wants to have a true pinup experience.

It was so much fun, They are a so so friendly and welcoming!  October Divine is a goddess at doing hair and makeup and really made me look fantastic! I wish she could style me everyday, I don’t think my eyebrows will ever look as good as good again!!!!
The studio is just amazing So retro and versatile I couldn’t wait to shoot in the amazing kitchen!

October and Si made me feel really comfortable and got me doing some great poses which really showed off my shape and the styling! I just absolutely loved shooting with these guy’s!!!  And most of all I loved there friendly little doggies Boo and Bella omg they are sooo cute and pretty I want them!! hehe

Was feeling very apprehensive about my make over, but October and Si made us feel very welcome and I soon relaxed, they are lovely people and I had a fab time! I had a shoot with the pinup academy on Saturday and I absolutely enjoyed it. My make up and hair by October was outstanding and after the shoot I got tons of compliments from people on the street. Si and October are the perfect team behind the camera, they gave perfect directions on how to pose me to make the photos look their best, and they made me feel super comfortable. If I had more time in the U.K I would definitely continue to go to them.

We had a Studio Lighting Day at The Pinup Academy today … Excellent day nice steady paced very detailed with full explanations and trying to learn the rules and break them !!! laid back but professional approach with lots of information on every angle and how to manipulate the light to capture the perfect shot. Si & October made us feel very welcome and relaxed that the day flew by. coming out full of confidence & fresh ideas boosting our knowledge & skills to show in our own work.

Had hair and makeup done for my Christmas do yesterday
October was great, super friendly and helpful, great sense of humour and hair and makeup was fab. My main concern was my hair staying up from 2pm to 2am as it often drops but it stayed up all night
Definitely going back for a shoot soon 

If you need a model this is the place to go … beautiful and fun loving women… perfect for any shoot!!

First time I had ever stepped into a photographic studio and as a complete novice was guided brilliantly by Si in the use of the lighting rigs , light meters etc and how to set them up .. the models who were all well known published pinup’s were brilliant who were also giving guidance to up and coming models and we’re a great laugh to in the process definitely would go back later in the year for another workshop ..

What an absolutely bang on experience. Everyone of theses reviews is right, you couldn’t ask for a better couple to make the day that good. October and Si are perfection.

I had the best time with October and Si Pinup Pictures at The Pinup Academy, I felt so welcome from when I first arrived and felt at home right away. I was well catered for (they make great tea!!) and we had a proper laugh, Si is a fantastic photographer to work with and I would highly recommend him – especially to any ladies who haven’t worked with a male photographer before. The Pinup Academy is fantastic. I had so much fun working with them at The National Hot Rod, Custom and American Car Show – they really are lovely, and talented and a lot of fun! Their workshop the other week was fantastic! I’d definitely recommend it! I picked up some top tips and I’m really pleased with the first photo from the workshop shoot – can’t wait to see the rest! I had a brilliant time at The Pinup Academy, the sets are breathtaking and I was really pleased with my hair and makeup by October Divine – I asked for Dita Von Teese style hair and she nailed it! I was able to be really creative with the shots and ideas that I had in mind and felt really comfortable in doing so. I had such a hard time choosing from the brilliant photos that were taken for me and would love to work with Si and October again in the future!

What a fabulous day today has been, I had so much fun and learnt so much! I will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend to EVERYONE! Loved it!

I attended the Photographers day at the flash centre yesterday and cannot recommend it enough… The equipment available is unbelievable, amazing lights, stands and accessories, the number and like of which are a rare find…… As for October and SINderella, extremely helpful and as you would expect professional and seem less posing one shot to the next. We tried a variety of poses and lighting…

My daughter had a photoshoot done and it was a brilliant experience, from the friendliness to the absolutely beautiful make up and hair she got, how she was made at ease by Octover Divine to get the best of her, as this is the first time she has done this, and the beautiful photos to show for it, i would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun and special experience.
